1. How does the dress rental process work?
- Borrowers: Browse available dresses, select the one you love, choose rental dates, and confirm the rental. You'll receive the dress by the date you requested and return it after your event.
- Lenders: List your dresses with clear photos and descriptions, set a rental price, and choose availability dates. Once a borrower confirms, you’ll be notified of shipping or pickup instructions.
2. How do I list a dress?
- Simply click the + icon in the bottom toolbar of the app. Upload high-quality photos, provide accurate measurements, and set your rental price and availability. Be sure to describe any specific care instructions for your dress.
3. What are the payment methods?
- We support credit/debit cards using stripe. Payments are held in escrow until the rental process is completed successfully.
4. When do I get paid as a lender?
- After the dress is successfully returned and the borrower has confirmed its condition, your payment will be processed within 1-3 business days.
5. What happens if the dress is damaged?
- Our platform has a built-in damage policy. Borrowers are responsible for damages and, in severe cases, may have to cover the full cost of repair or replacement based on the agreed-upon terms.
6. How does shipping work?
- Borrowers: You can select between standard shipping or local pickup, depending on the lender’s preferences. Tracking information will be provided.
- Lenders: You'll be responsible for shipping the dress on time. Ensure that you use a traceable method to avoid any issues.
7. What if a dress doesn’t fit?
- Lenders are required to provide accurate measurements. In case the dress doesn’t fit, return policies vary per lender, but in most cases, refunds for ill-fitting items are not guaranteed. Double-check all sizing details before renting!
App Support
1. How to search for a dress?
- Use the search bar to filter by size, occasion, color, and more. You can also check out our curated collections or top-rated lenders for inspiration.
2. How to request a rental?
- After selecting a dress, choose your rental period. Review the total cost, including shipping and rental fees, then proceed to checkout.
3. Can I extend my rental?
- No, we do not support this currently, please add extra days to your rental to ensure you are happy.
4. How to return a dress?
- Pack the dress according to the lender’s instructions. Use the provided shipping label (if applicable), or arrange for a local hand-off.
Lender Support
1. How to manage rentals?
- From your "My Listings" page, you can track all current, past, and pending rentals. You’ll be notified when someone requests one of your dresses.
2. How to ensure your dress is protected?
- Add detailed care instructions and list any existing wear or tear. Our platform encourages open communication between borrowers and lenders to prevent misunderstandings.
3. What to do if a borrower returns a damaged dress?
- Contact our support team immediately. We’ll help you resolve the issue, either through compensation for repairs or by claiming on the borrower’s deposit.
